The Location : Gurgaon
The Team: The team covers U.S. banking and financial services news in English. Our journalists leverage data and reporting to deliver differentiated content to a dedicated reader base. Areas of coverage range from major financial company mergers, regulatory policy shifts and changes to competitive dynamics.
The Impact: As of the U.S. financial institutions team, you will play a key role helping deliver high-quality data-driven news to our readers on topics such as credit risk, fintech, M&A activity, ESG, investment banking, lending and strategy. You will provide support for the team by writing value-add content for our users and assisting with editing and managerial responsibilities when needed.

Responsibilities:
• Write English-language breaking news and data-driven features stories for our real-time news platform.
• Identify and produce value-added analytical industry pieces illuminating key trends.
• Have the ability to leverage in-house and external data and other graphics to deliver valuable insight to readers.
• Collaborate with editors, reporters and data journalists, and other teams in the newsroom.
• Have strong communication skills and work well under pressure.
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably linked to business, management, journalism, or related fields).
• Fluency in English necessary.
• Proven professional journalism experience, including English-language copy.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.
• At least one to three years of journalism experience.
• Ability to deliver sharp, concise content to daily and weekly deadlines.
• Command of journalistic best practice (AP style, libel issues, etc.).
• An affinity for analyzing numbers, using in-house data intelligence, financial reports, and other industry information.
• Knowledge of financial market & economic trend analysis
• Candidates will need to pass an in-house editing test, prior to interviews with the team.
