The Role : Senior Infrastructure Engineer (IBM MQ Administrator)

The Team : IBM MQ has been used across multiple products supporting many external clients geographically. Team is responsible for end-to-end support and governance of IBM MQ Software.

The Impact : MQ is an enterprise product and different business/products are using for message transport. This position is a L3 position which requires sound knowledge of MQ and liaising with clients for troubleshooting issues.

• MQ is a backbone to many products with 200 + top banking/financial clients

• Along with MQ candidate will have scope to learn other middleware products like MQIPT/FixEdge/Appia middleware.

• Exposure to industry best MQ security standards.

Responsibilities :

• Candidate is required to collaborate with business and product owners directly as a part of day-to-day activities.

• Candidate must work on MQ platform setup both on-prem and cloud

• Coordinate with internal infrastructure teams for server or network related issues.

• Need to work 24X7 in rotational shifts.

What We’re Looking For :

• Experience in WMQ version 9.0, 9.1 & 9.2

• Linux & Shell scripting

• Graduate or bachelor’s degree

• ITIL knowledge is added advantage.
