The Role: Workday Configuration Analyst
Grade 11A
The Location: Manila, Gurgaon, Hyderabad
The Team: The People Technology Team is responsible for supporting the people function’s applications. The team provides day to day support for Workday, ServiceNow, Learning and other applications that are used by the People Team and organization. It is a dynamic team with a “can do” attitude that enjoys the challenge of implementing new functionality and technology to improve the user experience.
The Impact: This role will provide support and resolution of service requests, issue/defects and enhancements to applications used by the business and people teams. This role is key in resolving cases within pre-determined SLAs as well as assisting the business with questions and providing solutions to end to end business processes.
The role will also be critical in guiding and mentoring the junior analysts in Workday configuration and agile ways of working.

Responsibilities:
Manage configuration changes and enhancements for the Recruiting, Onboarding, HCM and Absence Management modules in Workday
Provide leadership and support to junior workday analysts in the areas of configuration, report writing, integrations, solution development, agile ways of working, module implementations, documentation and knowledge in other Workday modules.
Liaise with the business to understand their needs and usage of Workday and document solutions
Plan, design, configure and test Workday enhancements and defects (break/fix)
Conduct root cause analysis to determine appropriate action plans for issues, defects and problems and determine impacted employees and resolution plans.
Resolve escalated service requests from the People Services team
Guide business and People stakeholders through Workday Release functionality review to determine what optional functionality that will be turned on with each Workday release
Utilizes business and Workday knowledge to identify areas of system improvement, which impact business outcomes and people experience
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or discipline (Information Technology or Business Systems, Information Technology etc.)
At least 10 – 15 years’ experience in Information Technology
At least 5 – 7 years’ relevant work experience in Workday (Configuration in HCM, Security, Recruiting, Onboarding, Absence and Advanced Compensation)
Solid experience writing Workday reports
Solid experience loading EIBs
Problem solver that is able to break a problem into its small, modular pieces to develop a methodical approach to a solution
Solid experience using Excel and similar tools for data transformation and analysis
Experience using Visio, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, DevOps and other office applications
Strong written and verbal communication including storytelling and slide writing
Always willing to learn, do thorough research, fact-finding, gather knowledge and not afraid to asks questions
Has excellent time management and organizational skills and works well under pressure
Amenable to work the midshift.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience from a consulting background will be highly regarded.
Configuration experience in other modules such as Performance, Skills Cloud, Succession, Talent, Time, Benefits and Payroll.
Experience in writing Workday integrations
3 or more Workday Implementations.
Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps processes.
Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
Experience working for a large organization with a global footprint.
Experience with working with and supporting stakeholders in different time zones.
