The Role: Senior Data Analyst.

The Team: Automotive Aftermarket team provides to customers intelligence and insights on VIO (vehicles in operation) and automotive technologies through 20+ years of research and data acquisition.

The Impact: The position in Lab team, responsible for leveraging multiple large datasets combined with advances data analytics and data science to create new products with focus on adoption of global automotive and mobility trends (powertrain electrification, autonomous driving and mobility solutions).

Responsibilities:

• Research and analytics for Automotive Aftermarket team at S&P Global with focus on adoption of global automotive and mobility trends (powertrain electrification, autonomous driving, and mobility solutions).

• Analysis of S&P Global owned datasets, research for filling missing information, validation of new data products.

• Support data scientists in development of new product offers (share understanding of vehicle attributes and architecture, conduct studies on various automotive components for ongoing projects, validate model results).

What We’re Looking For:

• Deep understanding of past, current, and future trends in automotive technologies.

• Engineering background is a must, OEM and/or Tier-1 relevant experience is a plus.

• Demonstrated analytical and data interpretation skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel is required, experience in using of basic data analytics tools like SQL, Python, Knime is a plus.

• Good communication skills and team spirit.

• Proven interest in automotive field.

• Ability to work creatively and independently.

• Experience committing to deadlines whilst multi-tasking
