The Role: Software Developer II

The Location: Gurugram

The Team: Content System Development team is responsible for design, architecture and development of applications that assist in various content processes including data extraction, parsing, feeds, data processing, standardization, loading.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality secure and scalable services using Microsoft Technology stack: C#, ASP.Net, WCF, Windows Services, Web API, MS SQL server, WPF
• Develop solutions to develop/ support key business needs
• Aim to continuously learn, evolve and upskill; adopt cutting-edge technologies in project assignments
• Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Follow Agile best practices
• Continuously improve architecture and quality of code
• Champion best practices and serve as a subject matter authority

What We Are Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in application development
• Experience working with C#, ASP.Net, WCF, Windows Services, Web API, MS SQL server, WPF is a must
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Design, Data Structures, Multithreading and Design Patterns is desired
• TDD experience is desired
• Proficient with SDLC methodologies and Agile and DevOps principles
• Experience working with Docker, containerization, big data platforms like Spark/Hadoop, AWS, python will be a plus
• Critical analytical and problem solving skills

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
