# Role and Responsibilities

• Should be able to design Automotive Exterior Plastic Products such as from given class A-Surface to complete functional B side (class B surface) with required feasibility studies.
• Experience in any of such projects: Exterior Trims-Door, Pillars, Automotive Head Lamps, Door middle substrate, Bezel Switch, Bumper Cover.
• To design, concept, drawing for exterior parts like Bumper, Hood, Grill, Mascot, Decal, Mudguard, Splash panel, Sunshade, Rear view mirror, Bezel, Grab Handle, Spoiler, Air deflector, Footstep, Fender, Mud flap, Insulation, Floor Mat, Head Liner, A / B Pillar trims, Cab Insulation, Cabinets, Console, Seating, IP, ABC control design.
• Should be conversant with gap & flushness requirements, DEFMA, DRD & regulation for Exterior & Interior parts.
• Should be able to do complex 3D modelling in CATIA, assembly and drawing detailing, GD & T.
• Able to understand A class surface, do feasibility study for the part based on Tooling requirements, assembly requirements, mounting strategy.
• Good working experience in large assembly management, Top-down design.

# Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree or masters degree in mechanical engineering
• 2-3 years’ experience preferably in automobile OEM or Tier -1 company
• CATIA – Excellent Skill sets required in Sketcher, Part Design, Assembly Design.
• Master Section Creation / Modification / Auto Update with Parameter is the Key Requirement.
