The Role Responsibilities

• Within the TB CASH support department, SRE teams focus on production maintenance and improvements by providing fixes for technical shortcomings and software debt. They would be responsible for developing code and solutions for ensuring improvements to the production systems in an agile manner.
• Independently contribute to Maintain, Enhance and Develop existing applications
• Improve code quality statistics, participate/drive code reviews and continuously reduce technical debt
• Study existing engineering processes and contribute to improvements to drive up efficiencies
• Collaborate with teams globally to deliver, present ideas and innovate
• Model behaviours that facilitate Agile delivery
• Exhibit passion for client experience with a user-first mindset

Our Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate must have proven credentials of delivering in world class engineering teams having 2-8 years of relevant experience. With a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent discipline, he/she must have relevant experience fulfilling responsibilities of the position. Must be a confident self-starter with ability to collaborate and devise solutions. Relevant industry certifications are an added plus. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks is required.

• Payments SRE: Java, .Net, DB2, Oracle, MQ, WaaS
• LCB(Liquidity Collections and Billing) SRE: Java, J2EE, Amber JS, Oracle, Jasper Report, Crystal Report
• Messaging SRE: Messaging and Payments, SWIFT standards, SWIFT messaging, MQ, Attenuate, Mainframe, COBOL
• Cash SRE: Core Competencies and Strongly Desired competencies:
• Strong foundational knowledge on object-oriented analysis and design, with hands-on skills in Java / J2EE
• Java Technologies: Core Java, Spring, SpringBoot, Microservices, Maven, Tomcat, JavaScript(React.js &Extended.js), angular
• DevOps Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Kafka, Zookeeper, Git,Bitbucket,Jenkins,CI/CD, Rundeck, Ansible
• Other Languages, frameworks – Python and django
• Database: Oracle 11g & 12c, Postgres SQL, Cassandra, MS SQL Server, Enscribe, DB2, MSSQL, Enscribe, MongoDB
• Distributed Caching: Hazelcast.
• Cloud & Other: AWS, AZURE
• Cloud Native, IaaS/PaaS/CaaS
• Scripting – sql, powershell, pl/sql, bash
