Stanley Black and Decker Hiring for Engineer, Software Testing at Bellandur, India Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance testing of a unified platform for several industrial devices that are used in the automotive sector.

• Test planning and Test strategy development using industry best practices

• Log software defects in the defect tracking tool and work with development team on defect resolution.

• Developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.

• Foster partnerships with architects, developers, and product owners or clients from team members in Germany, India, US to ensure alignment and consistency in reducing risk throughout the software development life cycle.

• Create and implement Test process and Continuous Improvement plans.

• Develop and maintain Automation Scripts for HMI – UPA using Selenium C# framework.

Work Experience:

• 1 – 3 years of software testing experience.

• Experience with test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging with a proven track record in scaling highly technical teams.

• Good knowledge about C# and .NET .

• Experience automating test scripts using Selenium or similar tools.

• Experience with any of the following coding languages: C#(Preferred) Java, Javascript.

• Strong knowledge of database query tools like to write and run complex queries for data validation on databases like SQLite.

• Knowledge of Version control and CI/CD pipelining

• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, Test Automation frameworks, and Test Management Concepts.

• Knowledge about Linux, SSH and bash script is necessary.

• TFS – Team Foundation Server

• Git Version control

• Visual Studio 2022 (Backend)
