Job description

Looking for a Senior Accountant with 15+ years of exp in the manufacturing industry. GST, TDS, Taxation, legal, compliances act. Salary negotiable as per experience and qualification.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Compulsory experience of handling company Finances and Accounts independently.
• Finalization & consolidation.
• Preparation of Balance sheet and Profit and Loss account on Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Basis.
• Taxation – Income Tax, TDS, GST.
• Compliances and other compliance related to taxation.
• Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• MIS
• Audit
• Bank Reconciliation.
• ROC, Reconciliation.
• Payments & Receivables
• Sales & purchase and get the input for collection & payment and monitoring.
• Handling Tally
• Should be able to manage a team of up to 4 people. Supervises directs and reviews the work of the accounting staff.
• Oversees the daily accounting activities required to maintain the authority’s general ledger.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards (GASB).
• Proficient in handling Accounts for the manufacturing industry.

• Proficient in handling Accounts under Tally with an expert in Income Tax & GST.
• A candidate with experience in tally is a must.
• Require expert knowledge and ability to manage month close accounting journals, review reconciliations, and financial statements, and related reports. Finalisation from manufacturing / trading/ industry background
• Experience of GST filling, GST is a must.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communications skills both written & verbal and prompt response is required.
• Ability to exercise initiative & judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions.
