The incumbent will work on several project activities in Coordination with the different internal support teams here in STMicroelectronics, Greater Noida site.
Main activities to be performed:Installation, Upgrade of databases.Export/import of databases.Restore/rename of databases.Homogeneous and heterogeneous migrationsApply security patches, bug fixes and PSUResolution of performance issue via good RCAAnalysis of AWR/ADDM/ASH report.Homogeneous and heterogeneous migrations.Maintaining all SOX related compliance.
Profile
Qualification : BTECH (CS/IT/EC) and/or MCA
Experience : 8-11 Years of relevant experience in Database Administration (RDBMS: Oracle, MariaDB & PostgreSQL) + Knowledge of databases on Azure.

The candidate should possess in depth knowledge of the following areas:
Primary:Expert in Oracle Architecture.Installation/Creation of Oracle Software.Upgrade to latest version.Administration and troubleshooting of databases Servers running in Oracle.Offline/Online Backup of all production and non-production databases.Homogeneous and heterogeneous migrations for Oracle Databases.Recovery of databases.Expert in resolution of performance issues.Expert in instant tuning & resolution of Performance issueShell scripting for automation of database jobs.Provide solutions of cases logged through Remedy Helpdesk ensuring SLA/MTTR is achieved as per defined objectives.Secondary:Good knowledge of MySQL, MSSQL & Azure DBs.Installation/Creation/Upgrades of Databases.Administration and troubleshooting of databases.Backup & RecoverGood in resolution of performance issues.Knowledge of Shell/Ansible/Terraform scripting for automation.Skills and Experience:6-8 years of work experience and strong knowledge in Oracle Databases.1-2 years of MySQL, PostgreSQL & Azure Databases.Strong knowledge on RDBMS concepts & RDBMS Architecture.In depth knowledge of Oracle installation and upgradesExperience on resolving the performance issue & instance tuning.Good analyst of AWR/ADDM/ASH report.Good knowledge of scripting (Shell, Terraform, Ansible).Knowledge on backup & recovery of databases.Qualification : BTECH (CS/IT/EC) and/or MCA
