As a member of the Data and Business Intelligence team, the incumbent will be responsible providing technical leadership to a team of BI Application Support members and maintaining Business Objects (SAP BI 4.x) Infrastructure hosting variety of BI capabilities for various Business units of Sun Life.

B.E. or Equivalent Degree in Computer Science or IT
7+ Years’ experience as SAP Business Objects Administrator with at least 2 years with v4.1 or later.
SAP Business Objects architecture experience
In-depth knowledge of how to install and administer the Business Objects platform.
Knowledge of the various tools within the SAP Business Objects suite (Crystal, WEBI, Universes and Design Studio) is critical.
SAP BusinessObjects JAVA SDK experience is a plus

Responsibilities (heading) / Responsabilités (titre)

Responsible for the designing, installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP Business Objects environment.
Provide and support the infrastructure for BI Developers and end users.
Lead and participate in the plan, design, deployment and implementation of SAP Business Objects.
Install, upgrade, configure, administer and monitor SAP Business Objects products including Crystal, WEBI, Universes and Design Studio.
Act as a primary technical contact for support and enhancement issues.
Trouble shoot issues reported and document root cause analysis. Escalate issues to the software vender as needed.
Support the development of SAP Business Objects enterprise reporting solutions, to include Business Objects universe design and development, and report design/development using Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports and Design Studio.
Business Objects Product Administration, including but not limited to: Object Publishing, Content Delivery Administration, Infrastructure Administration, Security Implementation, Data Source Configuration, Environment Monitoring and Support, Branding, Product Tuning, Configuration, Patching, Upgrades and Installation
Candidate will perform installation, migration, configuration, maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting of Business Objects implementation in a shared environment
Participate in and contribute to the implementation of best industry practices for Business Objects tool set
Contribute to architecture and capacity planning activities
Conduct performance tuning and capacity management
Implement patches and other day-to-day Business Objects administration task
Work with IT and business users to resolve support and technical questions
Contribute to coordination and planning of Business Objects related activities
Provide off-hours and weekend support in an on-call rotation
Lead partner and business interactions and meetings and manage status reporting.
