Roles & Responsibilities

• A major part of Maxx’s positioning is its assortment and range of selection for the consumers. Ensuring beyond par excellence is a primary foundation for us to enable the right kind of positioning for Maxx. The person in this role will own and run Maxx’s sourcing from Brands, Aggregators, and Distributors.
• The person in this role will be responsible to manage end to end procurement from brands aggregators and distributors : from setting up processes to running the execution
• The person will be responsible for ensuring par excellence availability and prevent OOS. She/He will be responsible for ensuring timely turnarounds for replenishment cycles to ensure availability.
• The person will get down to the brass tacks to build efficiency in not just procurement but equally importantly the margins and other terms of trade for the business
• The person will also build a network for consolidators distributors and aggregators by brands and product categories
• This person will also be responsible for the quality of products procured from aggregators and distributors.

Desired Skills

• Prior experience of 3-4 years in a fast-paced environment : We at Maxx believe in not compromising on either speed or quality
• Strong operational, analytical and numerical skills
• Strong background or knack for setting up processes [esp in Supply Chain]
• Not just willing to but eager to getting down to the brass tacks to build formidable processes that also work at scale
• Excellent at networking and external stakeholder management
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals
• Must have ability to multitask and handle conflicts
• Attention to detail and ability to critically think through and identify and resolve problems
