BI Analyst/Admin (Power BI COE)

Responsibilities:
Understanding of embedding Power BI reports to the web applications. Own the complete Power BI End to End Application for the organization

Develop internal reports for Governance and Node Management

Collaborate with Business analysts on all areas of the Power BI Center of Excellence for new dashboards or existing.

Develop and update Best Practices and Guidelines and conduct training and influence people to follow the practices.

Create a Development, Testing, Production Process for the organization

Showcase and enable Power BI features (existing and new) on a frequent basis.

Maintain the Administration of multiple Premium nodes and Gateways.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in Creating, identifying and optimizing the power bi dashboards with large data sets and DAX queries and Power Query M

3+ years of experience in creating power bi best practices & standard nomenclature.

3+ years of experience in maintaining and administering and optimizing the power bi premium capacity management and performance tuning

Experience in Power BI data modeling concepts

Expertise in maintaining the PowerBI on premises gateway and personal gateway

Experience in implementing static and dynamic Row Level Security.

Advanced Level SQL skills to write complex SQL queries as per the business needs

Experience in testing the new features from monthly releases and enabling a larger audience.

Experience in Power BI Pro License Management, Version control Enablement.

Experience in using open source tools (Power bi helper, vertipaq analyzer, Dax Studio) to analyze and optimize PowerBI performance.

Experience in e-commerce is an added advantage.

Comfortable with fast-pace and ambiguity in a start-up environment

Databases: Snowflake, MySQL Others- SQL(Intermediate-Advanced)
