Job Description

: Role Summary/Purpose: The Systems Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting of Fiserv-First Data activity to the General Ledger. Responsibilities include supporting new client setup, maintaining mapping tables, reconciling suspense activity and validating Fiserv-First Data daily activity correctly journalizes to the General Ledger. Essential Responsibilities:

• Hands on experience in Oracle R12 maintenance, such as flex-field value, Cross validation rules and Security rules etc.
• Must be able to schedule/run Oracle concurrent requests.
• Hands on experience in mass allocation, recurring entries, and entry creation rules.
• Responsible for maintaining COA and various other mapping tables.
• Hands on experience into Hyperion Essbase. Should be able extract various reports from Hyperion and should be able to perform daily balancing between various system.
• Should be able to run programs/App Chains and monitor the output independently.
• Responsible for supporting Fiserv-First Data for the controllership accounting and customer service operations team
• Research and resolve suspense activity from Settlement Into The Future (SITF) and identify and communicate Treasury system suspense
• Liaise between end users and Fiserv-FD staff including opening tickets and following them through to problem resolution
• Need to provide Period and Quarter close support.
• Need to support on Internal and external audit walk throughs.
• Need to be very attentive in providing accurate and timely system support to end users during the LCDs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years Accounting/Finance experience
• Minimum 3 years financial systems administration
• Software skills – Advanced Excel, Oracle E-Business Suite, Hyperion Plan.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and daily deadlines
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written
