Job Description

Responsibilities :

• This position will be individual contributor role within the scrum team.
• Primary responsibility involves leading architectural/technology transformative initiatives involving application modernization & supporting POCs on different technologies.
• Extensive experience in architecting existing/new solution, approving architecture with EA , support development and implementation with Linux, Windows operating systems.
• Keep abreast with the latest developments in third party and custom development technologies.
• Evaluate new technology, determine technical feasibility, and drive solutions.
• Should foster innovation and enhance existing product.
• Ensure that the team and associated applications adhere to architecture standards, risk management and security guidelines.
• Define automation requirement and drive the transformation.
• Review code changes, approach document, unit test cases.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others are critical to this role.
• Proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of production issues, and having the determination to follow things through.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills with a keen ability to interact with scrum team, solution architects, product owners and cross functional teams.
• Ability to work proficiently and effectively in an Agile / Scrum feature team environment.
• Provide inputs to improve existing processes.
• Work closely with other functional areas to ensure that project schedules are met with a high level of quality.
• Knowledge sharing sessions to team members & other cross functional teams.
• Coordination with customer support / operations in supporting the resolution of customer issues.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

• Hands on experience in defining the architecture, developing application using Java, Open JDK, J2EE technology stack, Spring boot, Microservices, REST and other java-based frameworks.
• Must have min 6 to 8 years of experience in architecting and delivering software solutions on On-Premises environment. Good to have experience on Cloud native apps.
• Experience in DevOp’s tools such as Jenkins , Ansible, Sonar Cube, CI/CD, test automation.
• Should have good understanding on the security protocols viz, https, SSL, certificates, TLS, Encryption/Decryption. Etc
• Expertise on SQL – Query definition and Query analysis/optimization expected.
• Hands on experience on Caching solution( Coherence, Hazel Cast) and NOSQL (Mongo, Cassandra, Postgres. Etc) would be added advantage.
• Hands on experience with TDD/BDD or with a keen ability to work in TDD/BDD.
• Experience in UNIX operating environment is required.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN).
• Experience in Messaging domain and Telecom domain highly preferred.
• Experience on Kafka preferred.
• Experience on app development with Android and IOs preferred.
