INVESTMENT RESEARCH ANALYST -M&A SUPPORT, EXPERT NETWORK, INVESTMENT ATTRACTION ADVISORY

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Research Analyst to join our Investment Attraction Advisory team. The role involves researching global investment trends, identifying Indian companies with international expansion plans, and supporting client governments in developing targeted investment strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct market and sector research to identify Indian companies with potential for global expansion.
• Perform investment opportunity mapping and generate detailed company profiles and expansion pipelines.
• Conduct qualification meetings
• Pitch client’s geography with an aim to generate interest for successful lead.
• Engage with CXO-level executives to understand investment intentions and promote client geographies.
• Assist in the preparation of investment promotion materials, presentations, and strategy papers.
• Support in planning and executing delegation visits, roadshows, and business meetings.
• Collaborate with global offices to deliver actionable insights supporting FDI attraction initiatives

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong research skills with ability to analyze sector trends, company expansion strategies, and trade flows.
• Understanding of FDI, international trade, and investment dynamics.
• Excellent communication skills – ability to interact confidently with corporate leaders and government stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset, with attention to detail and ownership
• Master’s degree in Economics, Business, International Trade, or related fields.

EXPERIENCE

· Minimum 2-4 years in an Expert Network Consulting/Investment Promotion/Economic Development Advisory/ KPO/ M&A Knowledge Services, with experience of researching industries and company profiles, speaking with industry experts/ C.E.O/C.X. O level executives.

· Experience of researching and profiling the companies is essential.

Experience of Business Development and Sales closure is a must.

. Experience of outreach through various networking channels is a must.
