Ensuring smooth and error free operations in legal matters for the assigned area

Handle all legal matter/ practices to secure the best interests of the organization in debt recovery through SERFASEI and other legal action

Assist in Executing the strategies and procedures to be followed in debt recovery and maintain and prepare legal MIS for the assigned area,.

Provide legal opinion on debt recovery, arbitration, negotiable instruments act, civil matters and criminal matters, execution of warrants.

Ensuring amicable resolution in against cases filed in police stations and ensuring execution of summons / bailable or non bailable warrants / awards / orders received from the courts with police help

Manage the recovery litigation, physical possesion , auction under arbitration and SARFAESI laws and provide proactive legal strategy for all key accounts.

Track all legal cases so as to ensure no slippages, visiting NPA accounts along with the collection team for faster recovery

Initiating appropriate legal actions in delinquent accounts against borrowers under Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, Negotiable instrument Act, for recovery of dues including filing criminal complaints in qualified cases and take them to logical conclusion

Assist the legal collections team for the implementation of a recovery agenda through deployment strategies

Keep abreast of all latest developments/trends in local law/best practices with respect to collections, security creation and loan documentation.

Ensure compliance to all Audit / RBI regulations as well as policies and procedures of the company.

Proven soft skills in Excel, MS word and online legal search.

Basic understanding of Collection process and NPA provisioning

Qualification: Law Graduate/ Post Graduate

Educational Qualification: LLB & Above LLM
