Role and Responsibilities :
- This job covers all the activities (Including starting/stopping) related to operation of a Boiler and its auxiliary equipment.
- To control and monitor all parameters of Boilers in assigned plant.
- To maintain correct water level and regular feed to Boiler.
- To do dust elimination and damper of boiler.
- To maintain constant pressure and temperature of steam to topping turbine for maximum power generation.
- To operate boiler related pump operation.
- To continuously monitor flame condition and combustion condition in the furnace.
- To enter all daily Boiler Operation reports into system/manually in log sheet
- To maintain a clean operating area and observe GHK.
- To carry out all other jobs related to the Boiler Maintenance and act on work related instructions of seniors.
- To maintain the required safety standards
- To check system as per method mentioned in plant ISO manual
- To maintain and monitor safety/emergency system for assigned plant
- To maintain tools and equipment in a proper state
- To take regular plant rounds for checking any anomaly/abnormality and report it.
Preferred Skills :
- ITI / ATS Boiler Attendant with 0 – 5 years of experience in the operation of CFBC boiler
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to plan and visualise task ahead of its actual performance ( Planning and Decision ) and to master the complexity of details involved
- Requires co-ordination of multiple jobs at a time.
- Boiler competency exam
Qualifications and Education Requirements: ITI / ATS Boiler Attendance with 0 to 5 years of experience in Capive Power Plant boiler operation
