Tata Chemicals Hiring for Team Member -Purchase at Nellore, Andhra Pradesh Full Time
Role and Responsibilities:
Research potential vendors, Compare and evaluate offers.
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
Track orders and ensure timely delivery ensuring quality of purchased products
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices in the internal system (SAP)
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any specialisation.
Essential:
Vendor Management
Understanding of purchasing software (e.g. Procurify or SpendMap)
Understanding of supply chain procedures
Analytical skills
Negotiation skills
SAP working knowledge
Desirable:
Decision making skills
Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in any specialisation or Diploma in Engineering with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in FMCG/pharmaceutical/nutritional operations.
