Purpose
Understands customer DFM (design for manufacturing) and Executes the DOE (Design of experiment) basis customer requirement.
Key Responsibility
- Understands customer DFM (design for manufacturing)
- Studies and understands product design
- Executes the DOE (Design of experiment) basis customer requirement
- Ensures execution of process parameter controls by maintenance team
- Ensures child parts and consumables availability
- Ensures fixture readiness (specific to ME process planning)
- Defines appropriate station setup (specific to ME process planning)
- Coordinates for PQ (process quality) sign-off with quality team
- Conducts product ORT (on-going reliability test) in collaboration with the quality team
- Monitors CP (process capability) & CPK (process capability index)
- Monitor cosmetic and dimension yield performance
- Identifies root cause using problem solving tools such as 7QC, Fishbone,Why-Why
- Implements corrective and preventive action
- Conducts failure analysis
