Job Description

Ensure production of raw coal & Excavation of OB from specified section in respective shifts. Ensure adherence to all applicable Safety standards / procedures by sub-ordinates / contract employees. Ensure compliance of The Mines Act, C.M.R. Mines rules, statutory permissions, other statutory rules and regulations Plan and implement measures to ensure compliance to KPI relating to productivity and quality as per ABP. Drive improvement related initiatives within the department. Comply to all the needs for any project related activities undertaken by the department. Maintain all data related to statutes, production, productivity and other activities falling under your purview. Skills Technical Competencies Knowledge of Face operations, drilling, blasting, dump & slop stability. Safety hazards and mitigation measures in opencast working. Thorough understanding of Mines Act, CMR and related acts. Understanding of surveying Working knowledge of improvement framework in TSL. Working knowledge of MS Office, etc. Other details Full time Degree in Mining Engineering from AICTE recognized college with Second Class certificate of competency (Coal) from DGMS.
