J331 – To work in line with organizations efforts to grow its income streams, and ensure sustainable growth by identifying potential opportunities with internal ideation process and through scouting and evaluation of external opportunities

Your Roles and Responsibilities

To anchor the strategic planning process across the group which defines the short-term and long-term strategies

Responsible for examination of micro and macro-economic trends, markets of interest, competitive landscape, short- and long-term focus areas, potential geographies and mitigating business risk management

Support businesses in identifying opportunities for improvement, new initiatives, and investment opportunities

Provide business development support to existing businesses: Business case evaluations, Commercial assessment with primary & secondary research

Develop competitive intelligence

Play an active role in operational excellence, identifying areas for cost and efficiency optimization

Evaluation of external opportunities for in-licensing

Technical due diligence and negotiations of term sheet and license agreements

Corporate Strategy and Portfolio Planning support

At least 5-7 years of experience in corporate strategy, business development, merger & acquisitions

Strong quantitative and analytical skills/financial modelling

Strong financial and commercial acumen

Change agent

Strategic thinking, decisiveness, and risk awareness

Strong presentation and communication skills
