WHO ARE WE: Tata Steel Foundation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Steel Limited and was instituted on August 16, 2016. With over 1500 members spread over ten units and six states of Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Punjab, the Foundation is a CSR implementing organization focused upon co-creating solutions, with tribal and excluded communities, to address their development challenges. Locations of Posting: Jamshedpur, Jharkhand

Employment Type: Fixed-term contract (Renewal on a yearly basis)

Purpose of the Role: Skill development of youth leading to gainful employment by catering to the growing skill development needs of youth in its operational areas with consultation with stakeholders and unemployed youths.

Key Deliverables:

• Manage the skill development interventions of the respective regions.
• Reaching out to youths to develop skills that lead to gainful employment.
• Leverage collaboration with the government for skill development programs at the state & and national levels.
• Collaborating with partners by connecting to more employable options.
• Fund management of the project.
• Maintaining documents, reports, and writing proposals.

Minimum Qualification:

• For Assistant Manager role – Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Social Work/ Rural Development/ Entrepreneurship or equivalent.
• For Manager – Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as Social Work/ Rural Development/ Entrepreneurship or equivalent.

Work experience in years: 0-3 Years for Assistant Manager/ 3+ Years for Manager.
