Test and Triage engineers Test And Triage Engineer Grade L2/L2.1Area of Responsibility•     Working directly with the customer Connected Car engineers and internal TTL Connected Car engineers to understand current test requirements and infotainment features/ SMART Features.•     Development of test plans and test specifications at system and sub-system level to ensure good test coverage to ensure a robust and quality software delivery.•     Work with system experts to understand system requirements and features to ensure coverage of testing meets expectations.•     Raise and manage resolution of issues through issues tracking systems (customer dependent)•     Understand the programme timing and ensure test planning and delivery of testing in accordance with that timing an d resource availability.•     Reporting of issues and status of testing against customer milestones and gateways.•     Highlight a nd plan the need for particular resources and equipment required for the testing (e.g. rigs, vehicles, labcars, CANalysers etc.). Ensuring the request for these resources is made in a timely manner so they are available when required.•     Discuss knowledge gaps and system requirements with system experts to enable thorough test coverage.•     Development of test scripts and software panels to enable repeatable and efficient testing of regular software drops.•     Support setup, commissioning and refinement of test syst em(s) and test automation.•     Work with external test houses where required to ensure facility bookings are made in time to suppo rt test planning.•     Provide test reports highlighting passes and failures of the testing carried out as evidence of software mat urity and sign off.
