Job Description

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring targeted uptime of the project’s electrical equipment through monitoring of SLAs and scheduling routine maintenance activities. Also assists in AMC finalization and suggests ways to improve operational efficiencies.For new projects (wrt electrical works of Toll Plazas, sub-centres and rest areas), review the detailed drawings to ensure correctness from a functional perspectice and co-ordinate with all stakeholders during construction to ensure adherence to design and plan.

1. Identify and suggest ways/ methods to reduce electrical costs and service efficiency
Customer
1. To co-ordinate with all the concerned stakeholders within the project to acheive targeted uptime and carry out his functional responsibilities
Internal Process/ Operations
1. Ensure 99% uptime at the project :a. Monitor SLAs with electrical equipment to ensure adherence to quality b. Ensure that all routine and scheduled maintenance activities are carried out on all Electrical systems and sub systems (as per the equipment manuals supplied by the equipment suppliers and O&M manuals)c. Maintain adequate inventory of spare and consumables for each system and sub systemd. Maintain complete record of all electrical maintenance activities2. Assist the Manager -Maintenance in monitoring and reviewing Electrical Maintenance activities3. Real time data feeding in HMS (Highway Maintenance Software)4. To ensure timely preparation of maintenance calendar and submit to IC.5. Monitor level of services as per CA6. To inspect the assests as per the frequency mentioned in the approved Maintenance calendar
