Full Job Description
1. Interfaces with other IT Service Management processes as required with respect toasset data and is responsible for quality and efficiency of problem resolution whereAsset Management expertise is required2. Verifying asset information from other processes for accuracy and reviews andresolve all asset discrepancies or variances3. Reviews inventory (physical and automated)or other reconciliations (e.g. with financialrepository) for variances with asset records of the asset repository4. Assesses and provides variance resolution and analyzes all variances and makesrecommendations to perform inventory5. Associates variances with other process areas and advises appropriate processmanager and Identifies areas of process improvement and communicates to AssetManager6. Validating standard reports, ensuring that they meet defined criteria and ensuringcorrect report distribution and manage the standard report list for the account7. Review reports with subject matter experts and management, as required8. Work with IBM teams and DPE to fulfill a new (nonstandard) report request –including providing a cost estimate for new report development9.
