Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining efficient logistics operations. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure smooth logistics processes and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and efficient logistics operations.

Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to track shipments, resolve issues, and provide updates on delivery status.

Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of lading, customs documentation, and export/import forms, ensuring compliance with regulations and requirements.

Optimize transportation routes and modes, considering factors such as cost, time, and environmental impact.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.

Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align logistics activities with demand forecasts and production schedules.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and transportation costs, and prepare regular reports for management review.

Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in logistics operations, and implement appropriate solutions.

Stay updated on industry regulations, international trade compliance, and best practices in logistics management.

Address customer inquiries and complaints related to logistics, providing timely and satisfactory resolutions.

Maintain relationships with logistics service providers and negotiate favorable terms and rates.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Strong knowledge of logistics operations, transportation modes, and regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in logistics software and systems for tracking shipments and managing inventory.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Problem-solving abilities to address logistics issues and provide efficient solutions.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic logistics environment.

Familiarity with international trade compliance and customs regulations.

Knowledge of safety and security protocols in logistics operations.
