Job Overview

• Ownership of the Configuration Management System (CMS)

• Within an operational context, this includes configuration management database (CMDB), ServiceNow Discovery and integrations publishing information’s into the CMDB

• Planning, publishing and overseeing the Configuration Management Plan

• Participating ongoing in reviewing and updating of the Configuration Management process

• Maintaining the Configuration Management process documentation including the documentation of the activity levels (Standard Work Instructions, Training material)

• Actively managing that staff comply with identification standards for object types, environments, processes, life-cycles, documentation, versions, formats, baselines, releases and templates.

• Ensuring that our CMS is and keeps tightly aligned with ServiceNow’s Common Service Data Model (CSDM)

• Educating staff on application of the Configuration Management process in TE’s ServiceNow

• Ensures that the CMS is populated with CIs according to the defined standards and processes

• Troubleshooting of issues within CMDB, Discovery and Integrations

• Conducting monthly CMDB audits

• Liaises with ServiceNow Architect and Project Manager on project proposals and the overarching ServiceNow Architecture and Roadmap

What your background should look like:

• 6-10 years of IT experience with minimum 5 years of ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and CMDB experience

• Certified ServiceNow Administrator

• Profound knowledge on IT Infrastructure foundations as Server, Network and Database technologies

• Profound knowledge on ITSM and Configuration Management processes defined by ITIL

• Good knowledge about ServiceNow Development capabilities
