Job Description

TE’s Learning, Development and Communications Team is seeking an experienced Trainer for Voice, Accent & Written Communication Skills. In this role, you will train and coach team members in our Bangalore location on the proper verbal and written communication skills including verbal pronunciation, voice modulation, listening, speaking, and written English communication skills. You will deliver blended learning solutions for facilitator-led training, self-paced eLearning, and coaching to strengthen Business English verbal and written communication skills while also reinforcing the delivery of an Extraordinary Customer Experience for our global customers. The Communications Trainer will work closely with team members to execute a training strategy for our Product Specialists, Inside Sales, Customer Care and Leader groups. Skills required

Required

• 3+ yrs experience as a Trainer for Voice, Accent & Written Communication Skills in the BPO sector, supporting International process (global customers with focus on English language)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications / Business / Marketing /Sales or related
• Experience delivering learning engaging and creative Voice, Accent & Written Communication Skill training solutions for adult learners in a corporate business environment. Scope should include experience conducting needs assessment, competency-based training and coaching, achievement certification, calibration and creating continuous learning solutions to reinforce and progress skill development.
• Superior English language skills for highly effective oral and written business communications with a focus on verbal pronunciation, voice modulation, accent neutralization, listening, speaking clearly, and effective written business communication skills.
• Clearly demonstrates self-confidence coupled with the ability to infuse confidence in others
• Enthusiasm & ability to adjust training design/delivery for increased learner engagement for today’s global workforce
• Analytic skills with ability to identify root cause and recommend training/coaching solutions, trend reporting, achievement certification, learning curve reporting and ability to maintain a knowledge repository through SOP.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently & collaborate with colleagues in a diverse global team environment.
• Highly effective planning/organization skills and strong relationship building skills.
• Demonstrated drive for results with ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Flexibility to work Rotational shifts (as required to meet business needs)

Preferred

• Master’s Degree in related field preferred
• Previous Consultative Selling experience
• Interest in continuous self-learning (new training methodologies, technology) to accelerate Voice, Accent & Written Communication Skills training results
• Knowledge of SalesForce and/or SAP
• Demonstrated intermediate to advanced competency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS) and eLearning development tools such as iLearn.

• Lead the delivery of blended learning and coaching solutions for Voice & Accent as well as Written Communication Skills used in a Corporate Customer Service environment
• Command a room of professionals and share knowledge via virtual or in-person classroom
• Voice & Accent scope includes voice modulation, clarity of speech, accent neutralization, correct grammar & pronunciation, listening, and comprehension
• Written communications scope includes clear, complete and accurate written responses to customer inquiries while ensuring use of correct spelling, grammar and word choice to fully resolve the customer’s inquiry at the first point of contact
• Conduct Training Needs Assessment and certify learner achievement to ensure the delivery of superior verbal and written communications; Conduct remediation for outliers as needed
• Monitor and analyze verbal and written communications for real-time feedback. Provide ongoing coaching to reinforce continued skill building. Measure learning curve and analyze data to report on goal achievement.
• Conduct calibrations for all groups to identify and syndicate best practice
• Maintain employee training records, evaluate and make recommendations on training content, methodology & technology for improved learner performance
• Maintain knowledge repository for Voice, Accent & Written Communication Skill Improvement
