Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Software Systems Engineering Teams provide functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software operating/automation systems, including, but not limited to, utility, development, and diagnostic software. They perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost, risk, supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

YOU MUST HAVE

✓ Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Integrated Circuit Design, Physics)

✓ 7-10+ years of technical experience including full lifecycle developments with automotive electronics, integrated circuits, Sensor products/Platforms.

✓ Experience in Software- and System- Development, Design, Requirement Management and Analyses, Software-Architecture, Software-testing, schematics, circuit diagrams.

✓ Experience with refactoring methods, Design-Thinking, Pattern- and Object-oriented documentation or other standardization skills.

✓ Experience with ALM-Tools like Codebeamer.

✓ Knowledge about LabVIEW, Programming Rules and communication protocols, e.g. SENT and PSI5.

✓ In-depth knowledge and expertise with ISO 26262 Automotive Functional Safety Standards, FIT analysis and ASIC architectures (hardware and software) to meet ASIL requirements.

✓ Experience in working with global technology and product development teams in a cross-functional, multi-site environment to deliver projects with multiple dependencies and constraints

✓ Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on practical approach and ability to make decisions when presented with a series of challenges, conflicts and constraints

✓ Willingness to travel as required, 25%
