About the role:

To provide support to Tea Procurement team. As an assistant procurement manager the role/duty is to negotiate the company’s purchasing requirements while making sure it meets our quality standards without impacting the cost.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies across all channels of tea purchasing.
• Create and maintain a good relationship with vendors/suppliers.
• Should have experience of Tea Tasting, Analyzing Tea markets and has worked in Tea Industry for 2 to 3 years.
• Should be open to travelling.
• Need to plan and strategize SOP’s which helps in implementing cost-saving measures to achieve a reduction in terms of raw material.
• Monitor tea inventory and ensure sufficient stocks where required.

Skill Sets/Qualification Required:

• Bachelors/Master’s degree in any of the streams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required.
• Should know basics of Microsoft office.
• Should have skills of working on ERP and analyzing data.
