Job Summary

Application Packaging JD: Experience: 3 to 5 years Skills Required: ======================= ¿ Extensive experience in Application packaging/repackaging, using Wise Package Studio, Install Shield Admin Studio & ORCA. ¿ Troubleshooting and resolving complex and escalated application issues using tools such as Process Monitor, Process Explorer, PictureTaker/Installrite etc. ¿ Must have and understanding in Packaging /virtualization process, workflow, best practices and standards. ¿ Must have packaged applications for Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 OS platform. ¿ Deep knowledge on Operating system versions (Windows8, Windows 10) & its configurations. ¿ Good knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security and general operating system. ¿ Excellent knowledge on supported processes like Requirements gathering, Customer and Stakeholder communications. ¿ Must have political awareness and sensitivity in customer situations. ¿ Must understand a standard packaging process and workflow. ¿ Must be aware of Microsoft best practices for application packaging and configurations. ¿ Strong analytical problem solving skills to work, research, troubleshoot and analyze problems independently. ¿ Must be able to meet deadlines. ¿ Must be able to work after hours and some weekends. ¿ Prepare documentation for application packages. ¿ Performed QA tests for the applications in production, worked as a primary interface with the business users and passed the application through User Acceptance phase. ¿ Expertise in PowerShell, VB Scripts and basic knowledge on Batch Scripts. ¿ Should have work experience in Power Shell. ¿ Basic knowledge of Application Package distribution tools (SCCM 2007/2012) ¿ Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
