Here are some more details about the position:

You will be hands-on writing code, unit tests, and performing peer code reviews. You will work with a project manager, software development engineers, user experience and interface designers, quality assurance engineers and customer stakeholders to deliver high quality, scalable and maintainable software solutions for one of our biggest clients!

Core Responsibilities

• Build scalable cloud-based web applications

• Own feature design, build, and implementation from end to end

• Create innovative solutions to complex data-driven problems

• Participate in code and design reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field

• Expert knowledge of Python and/or Java, MySQL, and microservices

• Knowledge or hands-on experience of Redis, AWS, Google Cloud, GraphQL, Hadoop, Hive would be a plus

• Background in distributed systems and/or developing enterprise software systems

• Strong communication and ability to work well on a team

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment

• Passion for the code you write and pride in making it maintainable and scalable

• 30-45 day notice period; this is a high-priority role
