Job Title: Account Executive (US Accounting)

Job Summary:

As a Account Executive, you will be responsible for mentoring the Account Associates, Reconciliating of all payment methods, Reviewing the general Ledger, Reviewing the Purchase Orders etc.. You will be expected to work collaboratively within the department.

What you will be doing:

• Review the daily work done by Junior staff like Sales, Payment, Credit Memo etc.
• Reconciliation of all payment methods like Paypal, Credit Card, Cash, Check & Wire Received
• Review The assigned GL for each transaction & Reconciliation of Bank & Credit Card
• Review the Purchase Orders entry made by Junior Staff, match the Vendor ledger Balances & apply the payment send to vendors
• Preparing the Recurring Expense list, review those expenses & keep the track of expenses every month
• Prepare the Commission reports of Sales Representatives every month & record them
• Review A/R aging & match the customer ledger Balances
• Producing error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
• Corrects accounting errors and posts journal entry adjustments
• Can Handle team of Account Associate & Assign them work accordingly
• Work under the supervision of a Senior Accountant

What you bring:

• Must have 2-4 years of US Accounting experience
• Must have worked with BPO/KPO /Accounting Outsourcing Company
• Must have worked on Month-End & Year-end process for Minimum 1 Year
• Must have experience in managing multiple clients
• Advanced MS Excel skills including vlookup and pivot tables
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

Added Bonus If you have:

• Particularly good on QuickBooks desktop / online
• Teamwork and leadership skills

Educational Qualification:

• B.Com, M.Com or M.B.A (In Finance) or any equivalent graduation or post-graduation

System Requirement:

• Candidate must have their own Desktop/Laptop with specific system criteria (8GB RAM/i5 or higher processor)
• Candidate must have broadband facility to do WFH. (Min speeds require 40 MBPS)
• Candidate must have webcam & Headphones for online meetings
