Teknorix Foundation Hiring for Special Educator at Nuvem, Goa, India Full Time

Job Description

We are looking for a special educator to take remedial sessions for children facing academic difficulties or show some signs of learning disabilities. You are required to have knowledge and skills to diagnose, plan sessions and implement remedial sessions for children with special needs.

About Us

Teknorix Foundation is the upcoming corporate social responsibility venture of Teknorix Systems Private Limited. The foundation aims to work in the areas of education and disability in the state of Goa. We are exploring areas such as teacher empowerment, enrichment in learning opportunities for children, effective school governance and enhancing parental involvement in school education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform informal assessments
• IEP Definition (self and other team members)
• LP definition based on IEP goals/obectives
• Remedial Activity (execute LP)
• Prepare aids / resources as required
• Periodic review of Progress with IEP

Requirements

• Should have experience teaching students with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and other Learning Disabilities
• B.Ed (Special Education)/M.Ed, Diploma in Special Education
• 3+ years experience as a special educator
• Good command over english language
• Excellent communication skills
• Should be residing in an around Margao and have personal transportation
