Position Summary

Voxco is looking to add an SEO Head to our dynamic team to help take our company’s growth to the next level. This is a fully remote position . The overriding responsibility of this role is to design and oversee the execution of SEO to drive pipeline creation and revenue growth. Please note that the role involves doing Enterprise- level SEO for a global B2B product site.

This fully remote role reports to the VP of Marketing and will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate is data-driven, strategic, and willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done. It requires a candidate with strong leadership skills, creativity, and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving SEO strategy and execution to generate more qualified traffic and leads for the business
• Working closely with an operational SEO specialist, content marketers, and our dev team to ensure we hit our weekly targets. You will generate new keyword ideas, oversee content creation, and offer suggestions for the same. Update outdated content. Track-specific keywords in search results & collaborate with our in-house writers to make content rank organically for those
• Suggesting Meta-descriptions, Alt Text, Schema, Cornerstone content, etc
• Formulating and executing a back-linking strategy. Generate backlinks from relevant, high DA and traffic sites using outreach, content partnerships, and press releases
• Ensuring key elements of On-page, Off-page and technical SEO come together to drive the desired outcomes
• Competitor research and adoption of best practices to scale Voxco to new heights
• Reporting – Tracking relevant SEO metrics and benchmarking on a daily basis to ensure things are on track
• Future-proofing the business against any upcoming algorithm updates by making necessary site-wide changes on the fly

Requirements

The ideal candidate:

• Should have 5-10 years of experience and a couple of years at least in B2B SaaS
• Has a proven track record in ranking sites/pages in the top 5 for competitive keywords in the B2B domain in multiple regions
• Should be able to demonstrate skill by showing a sample of work involving the creation of content hubs that rank on google organically
• Should have strong Critical thinking skills – the ability to question and find out why & how of things.
• Should be a Self-directed person with a growth mindset and a strong drive to improve.
• Is strong in On-page, Off-page & Technical SEO.
• Should be able to conduct a detailed site audit, do Keyword & Competitor research.
• Knows how to analyze Site structure (using a crawling tool such as screaming frog) to suggest improvements.
• has a sound understanding of Multilingual SEO
• Excellent communication skills to work and communicate with a team in a remote setting

Is Good at technical SEO:

• Structured Data and Markup – An understanding of how metadata can be specified to influence how Google understands the information being presented.
• Critical Rendering Path – An understanding of how a browse constructs a page and what goes into the rendering of the page will help with the speed enhancements that Google is more aggressively requiring.
• Ensure Redirects, deal with content duplication issues, implement AMPs. follow best practices for Internal linking, resolve any javascript-based speed issues, broken links,
• Google search console issues, page speed etc are taken care of.
• Proficient in Wordpress, HTML, and javascript.
• Comfortable using tools such as Google Search Console,
• Crawling tools such as Screaming frog, Google Analytics,
• Rankmath for WordPress, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc
