Server Administration Analyst II

Tetra Pak Global Information Management (Global IM) supports the Tetra Pak Group with all aspects of Information Management. We set the information management strategy and standards and work together with Tetra Pak’s Global Process Owners to automate our business processes making sure we run projects & services that provide the greatest value for Tetra Pak and its customers. Global IM has approx. 750 employees in four main sites: Chakan in India, Lund in Sweden, Denton in the USA and in Singapore.

Tetra Pak Global Information Management is currently seeking a Server Administration Analyst who is able to demonstrate strong competence in Windows Server patching & troubleshooting related issues.

In this role you will be an Individual Contributor having opportunity to work with a product based organization which offers exposure to latest technologies. You will be based in Chakan, Pune

What You Will Do
As Analyst II you will:
Support day-to-day operations within the Infrastructure Services Team with Server & Storage Administration to include performing Server and Storage con-figuration of virtual environments, and troubleshooting server and storage re-lated issues
Monitor the server performance and using tools to maintain system continui-ty and an acceptable level of system Performance.
Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for issue resolution relevant to Server and Stor-age Management area.
Support Application owners to migrate their applications to new server host platforms when required, as well as optimizing virtual server platforms.
Maintain and upgrade the Virtual Machine environment with latest soft-ware and assist in maintaining Patch Management infrastructure health and compliance.
Explore opportunities to further improve the service and stay on top of the ev-er-changing technology and security threats.
Ensure smooth delivery of projects and implementations by offering Server storage, and backup expertise.
Have knowledge of network protocols, principles and concepts including the ability to troubleshoot local connectivity issues as well as understanding of Data Center architecture and operations in a highly virtual-ized environment.

Who You Are
We believe you have:
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience with hands on in Server Admin-istration & Microsoft Infrastructure.
Proficiency in Windows Server Administration & Maintenance along with strong troubleshooting knowledge of server related issues.
Experience of Windows Server patching & troubleshooting patch man-agement related issues.
Good Knowledge of Virtual Environment (VMware)
Understanding of various ITIL Processes (i.e. Incident, Knowledge, Prob-lem & Change Management) and how that works in an enterprise envi-ronment.
Knowledge of any scripting language, preferably PowerShell.
Good knowledge in Server monitoring, Audit and Backup/Recovery (Pref-erably Veritas NetBackup)
Knowledge on Linux Operating System & related server troubleshooting will be a plus.
Basic understanding of Storage technologies SAN/NAS (VNX5200, 3PAR
Experience in Vulnerability Management area with exposure on tools like Qualys or Nessus would be a plus.
