• Conduct Business Development activities for existing products, pipeline products, and new products/molecules.
• Generate new business prospecting, funnelling and meeting potential customers.
• Track business closure through negotiations, agreement, order execution and payment.
• Perform data analysis to understand market trends and derive pricing strategies.
• Conduct market analysis and prepare projections, budgets and business strategies.
• Prepare quarterly and annual sales reports and RFCs.
• Coordinate between departments to identify and bridge operational gaps
• Monitor business performance and track annual revenue.
• Achieve & exceed forecasted sales.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified – pharmacist or other relevant life science degree (academic) and preferably also a business and/or commercial degree (MBA etc.)
• At least 8-10 years in relevant sales and marketing experience within the pharmaceutical industry (ideally in Active Ingredients)
• Proven track record of success gained in sales & marketing position(s)
