About the Job

CTS (Clock and Timing Solution) product line in India focuses on development of state-of-the-art high-performance timing solutions from DC to 50GHz, which includes RF PLLs and Synthesizers RF modulator / demodulators, BAW based oscillators, clock generators, Clock multipliers etc. Our differentiated and high-performance parts are being used in Defense, Space, T&M and Communication applications. These products are done in BiCMOS / CMOS processes. Whole product development happens in India from involvement in product definition to design, Verification, layout, silicon validation etc. The CTS Product Line is seeking a highly qualified Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to drive new product execution success for 2021 and beyond. This position provides a unique opportunity to lead a cross functional team on the execution of releasing TI devices and ensuring successful return on investment for every development. The candidate must be able to plan the project from Assess Opportunity Phase to Release to Market and is responsible to make sure the project comes in on time and on budget. Success will be measured by the ability to grow the number of new products to market with on-time quality execution.

• Proven track record in program managing cross functional teams spread across continents

• Experience managing forecasting, project budget, scheduling, risk management

• Customer facing experience and exposure to driving external compliance and Test/ Qualification vendors

• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

• Ability to assess the key issues facing program execution and effectively communicate to drive resolution is critical to success in this role.

• Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

• Semiconductor Package Development PM Experience. Knowledge of device packaging and wafer fabrication process

• Knowledge of reliability requirements. Experience with Auto Safety and Space qualification desired but optional

Responsibilities include:

• Lead a cross functional team. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and set realistic plans based on required tasks with available resources.

• Work with wafer fabrication, assembly & test sites to guarantee schedule, cost and quality

• Plan the project using MS Project from Assess Opportunity Phase to Release to Market and is responsible to make sure the project comes in on budget

• Provide clear direction to both, team and external support organizations like device fabrication and assembly and test sites

• Drive and motivate all team members critical to the flawless execution of each product and project

• Provide weekly and monthly updates to senior management on status of projects

• Work with failure analysis (FA) to determine root cause of any reliability and qualification failures

• Maintain thorough and up-to-date project schedules with all related milestones

• Develop and implement Qualification plans

• Effectively coordinate material logistics and shipment/assembly/test prioritization

• Customer facing for design support (optional)

• Work with external standards compliance house for certifications

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

• Minimum education (ie bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering)

• Minimum of 5-10years of experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions

• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results

• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

• Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role.
