Overview:

Thaagam foundation is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Donor Relationship Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in securing funding for our organization’s programs and initiatives. Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies:
• Work closely with the fundraising team and management to develop comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities, including grants, corporate partnerships, individual donors, and online campaigns
• Grant Writing and Proposal Development:
• Research and identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources
• Prepare compelling grant proposals and applications, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and objectives
• Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, deadlines, and outcomes
• Donor Engagement and Relationship Building:
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing donors, ensuring timely and personalized communication
• Identify and approach potential individual and corporate donors, fostering meaningful connections with the organization
• Organize and participate in donor events, meetings, and presentations
• Online and Offline Fundraising Campaigns:
• Plan, execute, and evaluate online fundraising campaigns, leveraging social media, email marketing, and other digital platforms
• Coordinate and participate in offline fundraising events, collaborating with other team members to ensure successful outcomes
• Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Track and analyze fundraising metrics to assess the effectiveness of various campaigns and strategies
• Prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting fundraising achievements, challenges, and opportunities
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information and insights that enhance fundraising efforts
• Effectively communicate the organization’s mission, impact, and funding needs to diverse audiences

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Nonprofit Management, Communications, etc.)
• Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, or related roles within the nonprofit sector
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with donor databases and fundraising software is a plus
