Job Summary:
We are looking for qualified Chartered Accountants to perform robust accounting activities for our corporate and individual clients. The desired candidate would be responsible for performing the full spectrum of work from accounting, financial statements preparation, corporate tax and individual tax reports and filing, and other incidental work for our clients.

This is a remote freelance position. You would be compensated on a time/assignment basis which would mean that you would have the complete independence to work at your own time and at your convenience. We have found that this is an increasingly popular option for many employees in the post Covid-19 world.
Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial data for entry into the accounting system
• Handle accounts receivables, accounts payables, general ledger and full set of accounts
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements
• Handle journal entries for closing of accounts
• Prepare monthly or yearly trial balance, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement
• Prepare Corporate Income Tax computation and filing
• Prepare Goods and Services Tax (GST) filing
• Compile and prepare Annual Financial Statements
• Compile, analyze, and report financial data
• Manage the full financial process for our clients
• Liaise with clients (individuals or businesses) and provide financial information and advice
• Familiarity with IFRS, GAAP
• No travel required

Job Requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Minimum Experience of 5 years preferred (i.e. Articleship completed)
• A good understanding of MS Office and accounting software. Knowledge of Xero and Quickbooks Online will be an advantage.
