Boeing India Engineering is currently looking for Experienced Project Management Specialist to join their team in Bangalore, KA .

As a project Manager, the selected candidate will Leads project execution to complete work statement by identifying activities, resources and events. Identify and manage changes to SOW and assess the impact of those changes. Coordinating resources (people, processes, and tools) required over the life of the project. Plan for risk Mitigation and opportunity; tracks project performance, efficiencies, and productivity and capture lessons learned. Implement corrective actions to improve performance. Coordinating and communicating regularly with stakeholders around the world. The candidate shall provide periodic update on project progress, quality metrics, project summaries, and other related documents. Enable productivity improvement through use of Quality Management System, Lean and/or Agile principles.

The selected candidate will be committed and engaged always focusing on supporting teams to deliver high-value products with high quality. This position supports initiatives of Boeing India organization related to engineering excellence, employee development, Customer engagement etc.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide project execution and the ensuring completion of project phases. Maintains accountability for overall program health, maintaining situational awareness and taking appropriate action to ensure successful projects.

• Implementation of Project Management Best Practices. Includes developing and implementing integrated plans, scope management, baseline management, risk management, etc.

• Implements plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved. Monitors appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan.

• Proactively communicates with partners and peers throughout Boeing. Keep others informed by communicating project status, conducting and participating in team meetings, providing presentations and listening to others concerns and suggestions. Develops and implements customer and program communication plans.

• Establish partnership and engage with internal and external collaborators, maintain relationships/partnerships with internal/external customers, peers and partners to develop strategies, goals and objectives that are consistent with organization strategy and drive business solutions.

• Generate project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the business process development and system development lifecycle. Negotiates changes to program/project baselines. Identifies and negotiates for vital resources to meet program/project goals. Conducts analysis and recommends resource allocation. Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers.

• Make sure everyone on the team understands the project’s goals and scope. Helping the product owner maintain the product backlog. Facilitating scrum events (daily standups, other meetings) as needed

Required Skills:

• Must have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 8+ Years of experience.

• Experience in leading projects and cross-functional teams for the software development.

• Proficient in Project Management theory, concepts and principles (e.g. theory of constraints, critical path methodology, risk management; scope management, budget management, project management lifecycle etc.).

• Should have ability to direct, delegate, and ensure performance of assigned responsibilities and tasks as a project team leader in support of the overall large scale and complex projects.

• Proven ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.

• Expertise to determine the processes to be used to accomplish goals, documentation, resource management and Activities.

• Understanding on how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow, find opportunities for synealignment integration, and simplify sophisticated processes.

• Extensive and specialized ability to identify and resolve project related issues and provide solutions.

• Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under

• Pressure in a time-constrained environment.

• Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams within Boeing and external partners.

• Develop and maintain relationships / partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, and partners to develop

• Collaborative plans and execute on projects. Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work. Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with team members across different cultures and time-zones.

• Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English, and have proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work.

• Proficient in MS Office tool suite and Project Management software tools – MS Project, JIRA, ADO or equivalent.

• Strong communication and leadership skills

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated success in managing complex large projects

• Demonstrated Knowledge of industry standard software development methodologies and life-cycles

• Demonstrated knowledge of Agile project management best practices and processes

• Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.

• Familiarity with SQL, .NET, HTML, Python and Tableau a plus

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree is required and an MBA degree from a reputed university is desired. Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 to 12 years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 8 to 11 years’ related work experience etc.)

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

• SAFe and other Agile certifications are an added advantage
