Job Description:
1. Primary Role (Finance Executive)
a) Statutory Requirements
a) Ensure appropriate compliance on all statutory and financial obligations (taxation, accounting, etc.) as per Royal Enfield India and the company’s act and law of the land
b) Ensure dealership compliance to all legal requirements as per the regulations applicable
b) Dealership Finance
a) Identify sources and generate additional funds as per requirements to support daily dealer operations and business expansion plans
b) Build relationship with key bankers and financers in the region and identify optimal cost of borrowing
c) Identify and highlight all financial and non-financial business risks that apply for sustained dealership operations
d) Manage and overview working capital requirement and daily business cash flows for the business
e) Ensure preparation of reports such as Balance Sheet, P&L for the dealership operations
f) Provide expertise in dealing with vendors and leverage scale of operations to get best deals on supplies for the dealership
c) Business Planning
a) Support the CEO in creating annual business targets for all dealership departments based on the dealership priorities
b) Facilitate in building of the dealership business expansion plan and help financially validate the business case for the same
c) Measure business profitability on an on-going basis across Sales and Service, and facilitate in building action plan to drive a profitable business.
d) Business Monitoring
a. Monitor and maintain the finance department KPIs for business analysis and forecasting
b. Ensure that the cashiers follow the MSCIL guidelines on receiving payments
c. With the CEO, conduct monthly, quarterly and annual business overview analysis (target vs. achievement) and performance analysis (including Metrics report analysis) meetings with each department head
d. Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices and other financial statements
e. Identify and monitor areas of optimizing business operations along with the CEO, at both a Revenue and Cost level
f. Monitor receivables from Royal Enfield India and customers and also payables to vendors , employees Royal Enfield India
g. Manage the daily cash flows from the setups via cashiers
h. Measure, review, and control the line of credit available with financiers and minimize interest incurred on inventory
i. Provide periodic feedback to functional managers on their functionality from the dealership profitability perspective
2. Recruitment profile:
a. Educational Qualifications:BCOM/MBA-Finanace
b. Industry: [Automobile 2/4 wheeler preferred], Finance/ Insurance, Retail, Communications
c. Minimum experience: at least 4 years experience in a finance department role, minimum 2 years in automobile.
d. Profile: extensive experience in managing finances and dealership operations, strong focus on customer experience management, adherence to processes and norms
e. Passions/ Interests: Passionate about Royal Enfield and motorcycling
