The Somaiya School Hiring for Librarian (experienced candidates only) at Mumbai Full Time

· To maintain various registers for library and stock of books, teaching aids and other materials

· To coordinate with publishers/vendors related to the books

· To issue books, teaching aids and other resource material to staff and students

· To conduct library teaching periods

· To get project work done by the students

· To ensure that records are maintained properly

· To collect late payments from students and submit records to Admin

· To help and support teaching staff to find books, procure material as per requirement

· To ensure that the library environment is encouraging and welcome

· To update soft boards inside and around the library

· Maintain requisite files with all newspaper cuttings for news related to the education field

· To encourage Reader’s Club activity and library-based projects

· To initiate and encourage reading, developing and introducing projects for the children

· Other duties desired by the authorities as per need
