Thermo Fisher Scientific Hiring for Business Analyst III – ERP at Bangalore, India Full Time

Supports E1 ERP Business

Excellent Knowledge of OTC area. Subject matter best practices

Communicate and collaborate closely with users based at the site to analyse information needs and functional requirements

Liaise between the business, technology teams and support teams

Gather user requirements to develop solutions and alternatives

Participate in Service Desk function to resolve user related support calls

Participate in and/or lead requirements and design

Translate user requirements into user requests and program specifications and document these business requirements and process flows.

Partner with systems analysts on technical design and coordinate development work with development teams.

Prepare and execute test plans for new functionality

Publish communication related to the deployment of new functionality

Develop training outlines for end-users when required

Ensure compliance to Thermo Fisher IT Policies and Guidelines.

Translate high-level information into details as well as summarize detailed information.

In this role, you will learn to a deep level a range of different platforms and be able to grow your knowledge and raise your profile across the commercial business in LSLPG.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT work experience acceptable

Extensive knowledge and experience of E1 ERP System

Knowledge of SAP and/or AS400 JDE World advantageous

Strong analytical and tech skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

Strong interpersonal and excellent documentation skills are a must

Ability to explain and champion technical concepts to a broad audience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
