How will you make an impact:

You will be part of the team that will develop AI related solutions in collaboration with different business units and divisions in Thermo Fisher. You will be developing services and applications that will be used, integrated into software solutions delivered to our customers.

What will you do:

• Support the team in terms of requirement understanding, solutioning and implementation as per standard methodologies

• Demonstrate ownership and inculcate the habit of owning end to end responsibilities.

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java programming language and object-oriented principles.

• Implement microservices architecture to build scalable and resilient software solutions.

• Use cloud platforms like AWS, Azure to deploy and run software applications.

• Design and develop RESTful APIs.

• Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure high-quality code and comprehensive test coverage.

• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to build modular and maintainable software architectures.

• Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to implement innovative Generative AI algorithms and models.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI and related technologies, and propose innovative solutions to improve existing software systems.

• Document software designs, architectures, and development processes.

How will you get here:

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Experience of 6+ years in Java programming, including expertise with Java frameworks and libraries.

• Experience of 1+ years in delivering AI related software projects

• Experience of 3+ years in understanding microservices architecture and hands-on experience in developing and deploying microservices-based applications.

• Working experience in AWS and Azure cloud platforms

• Good experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs

• Experience of 3+ years in developing user interfaces using UI frameworks such as Angular, React
