Reuters is looking for a financial journalist who can lead a team of reporters covering economic policy in India. The economy is facing new headwinds following the war in Ukraine just as it was coming out of a deep slowdown caused by the pandemic. The ideal candidate would be someone who can track policy changes from inside the federal government in Delhi, from the small details to the big moves as the government seeks to put Asia’s third largest economy on a firmer footing. The role offers a chance to drive the biggest stories of the day, spanning tax changes to investment promotion, foreign trade negotiations to issues of data privacy.
