Role Summary:

The Finance or Accounting Officer is responsible for the review, preparation and maintenance of documentation of financial transactions in the organization and provides support to all other endeavors related to the finance function.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions of the India office.
• 
  Prepare and maintain financial statements and activity reports (such as MIS, MER and Fathom report) that highlight business finances and forecasts in accordance with proper accounting standards.
• 
  Support payroll funding, month end and year end closing and participate in other projects as required.
• 
  Review all invoices for appropriate documentation prior to processing for approval.
• 
  Maintain and file invoices and other applicable supporting documentation.
• 
  Make certain the billing and payment mechanisms of the organization are efficient, functional and in accord with the organizational policies.
• 
  Review all accounting, financial and taxation obligations as prescribed by the organizational policies, contractual terms and law.
• 
  Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• 
  Liaise, build and maintain good rapport with the different departments
• 
  Coordinate and manage third party vendors (such as AKM) for tax filing and other finance related activities
• 
  Comply with regulatory requirements, company and group policies; maintain compliance awareness.
• 
  Co-ordinate various finance related projects (accounting, taxes, compliances, etc) with external service provider and Global HQ team based in Singapore
• 
  Ensure that all compliances are submitted accurately and on time through the external service provider
• 
  Support Global HQ team on finance related matters where requested.
