We are hiring BI and Analytics Support Lead role within the BI and Analytics COE and reports to the Support Manager. The role is responsible for delivering support services to users of Toll’s BI and Analytics COE applications. The role is also responsible for ensuring that service delivery for both internal and external software meets the agreed business demand, at the quality required, Support KPIs and SLAs are adhered to delivering business value in a cost effective and timely manner. * As the BI and Analytics Support Lead, you will: * Maintain a highly effective support framework for the BI and Analytics COE. Ensure processes, procedures and appropriately skilled resources are in place and tested to ensure that services are delivered to agreed service levels. Escalate support needs to third party suppliers as required and ensuring service level agreements are met * Develop relevant capacity plans ensuring current and future requirements are met and aligned to COE demand. Ensure a high level of customer service focus and responsiveness to ensure delivery as per service level agreements. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within support and business processes to increase operational efficiency. * Leverage and enhance technical support tools to drive service improvement. Safeguard the quality of transition of build into support from the COE, work with the broader BI and Analytics COE team to ensure agreed commitments are delivered, and undertake proactive troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues implementing preventative measures as appropriate * Maintain support documentation as appropriate, identify opportunities to rationalize the current vendor landscape for application support services, oversee and measure KPIs to monitor and challenge vendor performance and identify gaps and areas of service improvement, apply the relevant security and risk management protocols as directed by Toll IT policies and procedures * Lead and manage a team of 2-3 BI and Analytics Analysts, manage their day-today work allocation, provide leadership, mentor, coach and guide the team both for regular technical learnings and while in crisis * Ability to review and contribute to architecture and design discussions of ongoing projects executed by BI and Analytics Build team. *About you * To be successful in this role, you will need: * 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in IT support services within a similar sized multi-national organization, with excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills, and successful experience in engaging with key business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are being met. * Demonstrated successful experience working in a BI and Analytics support services team, having experience working in a fast paced and challenging environment, demonstrating capacity management skills, experience supporting BI and analytics platforms both on premise and hosted solutions. * Experience in working within an agile environment desirable and experience in COBIT and ITIL best practice. * Good hands on exposure to AWS services and Microsoft Azure Data Services, Big Data Technologies like Informatica BDM, Hive, Oozie, HDFS etc, job scheduling tools with basic hands on exposure to Databricks, Python, Spark & BI tools like Power BI & Tableau. * Broad experience in SDLC of application development process including requirement gathering, analysis, estimations, design, development, implementation, testing, coding, de-bugging and hyper care support, plus well versed in application Support and Maintenance. * A practical understanding of data privacy, IT security, and intellectual property legislation. Ability to debug, understand and lead Infrastructure (UNIX, Windows, Network, DB and Storage ) related triage / issues alongside the Infrastructure teams.
