The role The Planning Analyst contributes to the Toll Group Planning activities within the Business Improvement and Transformation Team. The role is responsible for analysing IT demand and assessing priority, inter-dependencies, delivery implications, financial considerations, value proposition and strategic alignment. As the Planning Analyst, you will: * Contributes to IT resourcing estimates to enable accurate forward planning and Complete planning and decision making processes in line with organisational time lines. * Accountable for contributing to consolidated, multi-year view of IT activities and required resources * Follow planning processes / drive adoption and adherence to agreed planning processes and standards to support execution of business strategy * Through analysis of IT demand support the development of long term delivery plans and strategies Contribute to risk and inter-dependencies identification across IT demand and develop appropriate mitigation strategies * Support the development of IT budgets and forecasts (strategic, operational, project, risk) * Support the optimization of the portfolio of projects to ensure that the IT demand is able to be executed About you To be successful in this role, you will need: * At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in strategic planning, investment management, portfolio management experience in a complex IT environment * Strong collaborative, investigative, analysis skills and experience in interacting and presenting to senior management * Sound knowledge of project management, quality assurance, performance metrics across technology and resources, audit, risk management and governance principles. * Demonstrated successful experience with IT planning and strategy in a large scale global organisation * Demonstrated successful experience in engaging with key business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met * Bachelor’s in computer science, business, or a related discipline Be Connected With a bold vision and innovative drive, join our 20,000 colleagues as we lead industry change and transform how customers best meet their global supply chain needs in a meaningful and sustainable way.
